A Bit About Our Cabin

Our charming and cozy log cabin is 9 miles past Idaho City on scenic Hwy 21 in the Boise National Forest. The relaxing sound of a creek is the first thing to greet you at the cabin’s front. It’s a perfect venue for reunions or retreats, with campgrounds nearby for extra tents or RVs. Hiking & biking trails are nearby, and Idaho City is only a 10-minute drive. Most summer nights - and our hammock - provide for spectacular stargazing. If you are looking to disconnect and spend a peaceful weekend rejuvenating in nature, this is the place for you. Easy access from Hwy 21 means you never have to worry about 4-wheel drive.

The Cabin was built in 1937 and is situated on 1.34 acres of land surrounded by magnificent Idaho pines. The outside firepit will roast you the perfect s’mores. Satellite internet, spacious parking and fully furnished with pots, pans and utensils, and of course board games. A wood-burning fireplace, running hot water and an outdoor propane grill keeps everyone warm and fed. 15 minutes away from The Springs Retreat in Idaho City, 1 hour and 40 minutes from Stanley, 45 minutes to Lowman and Kirkham hot springs.
